Becoming a Peace Community Church Ordained Minister is a four year process of training and community experience. The first step is applying for the Licensed Student affiliation. There are no pre-requisites for the Licensed Student affiliation. Training requirements for each affiliation level are described below.

The Americana Leadership College is the seminary for Peace Community Church Int'l and offers extensive training in healing, spiritual counseling, and effective leadership training.

Licensed Student

A Licensed Student learns spiritual unfoldment techniques in the arts of prayer, meditation, healing and the gifts of the Spirit.

  • Qualifications: None. It is the first step in becoming an Ordained Minister.
  • Renewal: May be renewed annually by request and approval of the Board of Bishops.
  • After one year as a Licensed Student, a person may choose to apply to become a Licensed Teacher if pre-requisites have been completed.
  • Licensed Student fee: $20.00

Licensed Teacher

A Licensed Teacher is licensed for one year as a teacher of unfoldment procedures in the arts of prayer, meditation, healing (including laying on of hands) and the unfoldment of the gifts of the spirit.

  • Qualifications: Has been a licensed Student for one year.
  • Certified in at least five elective courses from the Americana Leadership College.
  • At least one of the above five electives must be 541: Inner communication and Guidance, or 3001: PMM Special Meditation Training
  • Certified in at least five DEPT 600 courses including 622: Ceremonies and Procedures of Peace Community Church.
  • Has taken at least two Dept 700 courses.
  • Is certified in Profile Course 1001: How to Administer the 1001 Orientation Counseling Profile
  • Length of Affiliation: 1 Year. Renewal: May be renewed annually by request and approval of the Board of Bishops.
  • Applying For The Next Level: After one year as a Licensed Teacher, a person may choose to apply to become a Licensed Minister.
  • Licensed Teacher fee: $30.00
  • Opportunities: May anoint Participating Members and Licensed Students. Receives periodic information from PCCI, announcements of meetings and may attend church conventions.

Licensed Minister

A Licensed Minister makes a greater commitment in personal spiritual unfoldment and sharing with others. He has had training in administering profiles or giving consultations.

  • Qualifications: Has been a licensed Teacher for one year.
  • Certified in at least ten elective courses from the Americana Leadership College.
  • Certified in at least ten DEPT 600 courses including 622: Ceremonies and Procedures of Peace Community Church.
  • Has taken at least four Dept 700 courses.
  • Is certified in Profile Course 1002-A: How to Administer the Blockage Discovery Profile, in addition to the 1001 Orientation Profile
  • Length of Affiliation: 1 Year. Renewal: May be renewed annually by request and approval of the Board of Bishops.
  • Applying For The Next Level: After one year as a Licensed Minister, a person may choose to apply to become an Ordained Minister.
  • Licensed Minister fee: $40.00
  • Opportunities: May anoint Participating Members, Licensed Students, and Licensed Teachers. Receives periodic communications from PCCI, announcement of meetings; may attend church conventions.

Ordained Minister

An Ordained Minister is ordained for life. This is a lifetime commitment to oneself in personal spiritual involvement and unfoldment. This person extends his commitment to working closely with Spirit to be of service to others.

  • Qualifications: Has been a licensed Minister for one year.
  • Certified in at least fifteen elective courses from the Americana Leadership College.
  • Certified in at least fifteen DEPT 600 courses including 622: Ceremonies and Procedures of Peace Community Church.
  • Has taken at least six Dept 700 courses.
  • Is certified in Profile Course 1003-A: How to Administer the Percent of Balance in the Glandular System and the 1003-D How to Administer the Spiritual Compatibility Profile
  • Length of Affiliation: This affiliation is for life. However, an Ordained Minister is asked to keep certification in the specified requirements and make a financial commitment annually.
  • Anointed By: A bishop, after approval of the Board of Bishops
  • Applying For The Next Level: After one year as an Ordained Minister, a person may apply to become an Elder, the first step to advanced levels of spiritual leadership, which are Elder, Master and Bishop.
  • Ordained Minister fee: $50.00
  • Opportunities: May anoint Licensed Students, Teachers, Licensed Ministers and Participating Members. Ministerial opportunities include Baptism, Marriage, Marriage Confirmation, Spiritual Consulting and Memorial/Funeral Services. He may organize Fellowship meetings in the community and send period reports to PCCI.
